The Yaskawa YRC1000 Basic Programming with Material Handling course is a four day course that is ideal for engineers, maintenance technicians, and operators seeking knowledge of robot operations related to material handling applications. This course will teach the user how to properly navigate the teach pendant, jog the robot in different ways, understand basic programming instructions, create/test/modify/execute material handling programs, diagnose standard faults, recover from crashes, teach user frames, monitor/force/simulate inputs and outputs, program position variables, and monitor/program interference areas. Students will receive a copy of the training manual at the completion of the course.

The Yaskawa YRC1000 Advanced Programming course is a four day course that is ideal for anyone who has taken Basic Programming and is looking to increase their knowledge and skills. This course will teach the user how to Program advanced I/O instructions, name variables and apply variable data, define and use position variables, use system variables, program advanced arithmetic instructions, load files from USB drives, define cubic interference zones, set axis soft limits, set the TCP, customize parameters, shift jobs and points, use software options such as PMT, Relative Job, Concurrent Job, Interrupt Job, and Search Function. Students will receive a copy of the training manual at the completion of the course.

Yaskawa YRC1000 Operators

The Yaskawa YRC1000 Operators course is a two day course that is designed specifically for non-programming, robotic system Operators. It is an introductory course that teaches safe operation of the robotic system. Upon completion, each student should have the necessary skills to understand robot movement and fault recovery, work safely in and around the robot cell, use the standard push-button operator’s station, perform basic troubleshooting, and modify points. Students will receive a copy of the training manual at the completion of the course.
